Guide to Create Attractive Low Cost Chinese Restaurant Menus
♫ Friday, July 2nd, 2010In a restaurant a menu card has got a great importance. With the help of a good well designed card it is possible to get more customers even if the food provided tastes not that good. Good design is always accompanied by a set of well defined pictures which will definitely create a nice impression among the customers. For it to look good the print in that should also be good. For that digital printing is the best.
Firstly the quality of pictures in four colours is very good. Digital printers make use of the colour combination Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and black. Due to the mixing of these colours high quality images are produced. The text printed will also be good.
A conversion technique is utilised to convert the basic Red, Green and Blue to obtain Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. The basic principle behind this technique is electronically selecting the closest equivalent of the colour space. Thus good quality images are obtained on a regular basis.
The most important advantage is cost effectiveness. This is the factor which enabled the success of this method over the traditional offset printing. Offset printing requires a lot of set ups to be done in order to start printing.
For lesser number of copies digital printing is the best due to the cost effectiveness factor. Also good quality prints can be obtained. Thus digital printing gains a small upper hand over the offset printing.
Next important factor is time. The time required is less when compared to offset printing which involves a lot of set up process initially before printing. So, once the design of the menu card is finished it doesn’t take much time for the printing process to complete. So lots of time can be saved.
With so many advantages listed, digital printing has got one disadvantage. It is that there is a chance that the prints in the printed paper may get deteriorated due to handling. But it is only a small disadvantage which can be rectified by other methods.
